Tristan Spinski (b. 1978) grew up between Delaware and southern Ohio. During high school he played football. Tristan’s coach said he could hit pretty hard, but couldn’t catch worth a damn.
Tristan attended the University of Delaware where he majored in English, and University of California at Berkeley where he earned his Master’s Degree in journalism.
Tristan’s clients include Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, The New York Times, POLITICO Magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, Oxford American, CNN.com, AARP, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and FRONTLINE/World.
He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware.
Tristan is a co-founding member of GRAIN, a photography collective, and he lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife Sarah, and dog, Billie Ocean.
